It was while playing cat and mouse on Facebook that Tirrick Obadiah Smith and Stephen Theodore Morris first encountered each other on December 3rd, 2021. Stephen received direct messages from Tirrick wishing him a happy birthday in previous years. Tirrick and Stephen chatted for a while and eventually exchanged phone numbers. They continued the conversation over the phone and continued to get to know each other better. Phone conversations allowed them to grow a caring and genuine friendship. Although there were 120 miles between the two, that did not stop them from building something special. They eventually met in person, and their friendship blossomed into a timeless bloom. They kept in touch and visited each other regularly. They shared many laughs and jokes to keep things young and lively.

In addition to their life stories, they also shared various moments from their past. They discussed the good, the bad, and the ugly. Due to this, they became vulnerable to one another. They built a strong bond that withstood the test of time. They became best friends, which opened the doorway to something even more magical. They fell in love and stood firm to the future they jointly envisioned. They had a unique idea of what their engagement, marriage, and life would look like. Every day, they worked hard and intensely as a team to bring their dreams to reality. Their commitment to each other was unwavering, and their success was undeniable. They had found their soulmate and their shared destiny. It had become apparent to them that they were part of each other's life purpose.

As a result of their inner commitment, Tirrick kneeled on his left knee and proposed to Stephen on February 14th, 2023, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He proposed over the sounds of Jamie Foxx's "You Were My Dream." Stephen was overcome with joy and accepted the proposal. They embraced each other and kissed to seal the deal. It was a moment they would remember for the rest of their lives. After months of contemplating, Tirrick and Stephen both agreed that Savannah, Georgia, would become their new residence. A beautiful and historic town where they would start a new chapter of their lives. While living in Georgia, they planned their wedding from afar, celebrated their successes together, and kept each other motivated.

They were a powerful team, and they knew it. Together, they achieved more than they ever thought they could. As a duo, they realized that they could accomplish so much in this lifetime. They knew the world could be conquered. So the wedding plans started and were underway. They each shared the same vision for their special day.
